Terms of Service

IndieVitals shows indie founders three separate signals on one screen: Business (revenue and MRR from Stripe), Body (the scores WHOOP or Oura already calculate) and Build (commit and merged pull request counts from GitHub repositories you choose). All connections are read-only. IndieVitals compares each number with your own recent history and never combines them into a single score.

You must be at least 18 years old and use IndieVitals for your own business or professional purposes. You may only connect accounts that you own or are authorized to connect, and you confirm that doing so doesn’t breach any agreement you have with someone else.

You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep access to that inbox secure. Accounts are personal: one person per account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your details accurate. Tell us promptly at hello@getindievitals.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

• Free trial. Your 14-day trial starts when you create your account. No card is needed to start. When it ends, you need a subscription to keep using the dashboard. Your data stays in your account until you delete it.
• One plan. The Founder plan costs $19 per month or $149 per year, plus any applicable taxes, and includes every feature.
• Paddle is our reseller. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle processes your payment, calculates and collects taxes, issues invoices and handles refunds, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime through the customer portal linked from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Refunds are handled by Paddle under its buyer terms and applicable law; if you think you were charged in error, contact us.
• Failed payments. Paddle may retry a failed payment. If payment can’t be collected, we may pause access until it is.
• Price changes will be announced in advance and apply from your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for.

You agree not to:

• connect accounts or data you are not authorized to access, or use IndieVitals to process other people’s health data;
• try to access another user’s data, or probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission;
• bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or place an unreasonable load on it or on connected providers;
• reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the service, except where the law expressly allows it;
• use share cards to mislead, harass or impersonate anyone, or for anything unlawful.

Stripe, WHOOP, Oura and GitHub are independent services with their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to your use of them. IndieVitals can only show what their APIs provide, and depends on their availability. They may change their APIs, limit access or revoke our approval, which can interrupt or end an integration. Until WHOOP and Oura approve our production apps, those integrations may be limited to a small group of beta users. IndieVitals is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies, and their names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Your data remains yours. You give us permission to access, store and process it only to provide IndieVitals to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. You can disconnect a provider or delete your account at any time.

IndieVitals is a wellness and business analytics tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

• It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition.
• Body metrics are the scores WHOOP or Oura calculate, shown as provided. Comparisons with your baseline describe changes in those numbers; they are not health assessments.
• Don’t use IndieVitals for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical problem, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency number.
• Don’t start, stop or change any treatment, exercise or diet because of something you see in IndieVitals.

Revenue and MRR are calculated from your Stripe data using the formulas shown in the app. Revenue is payments minus refunds, not profit, and currencies are never converted. MRR is an estimate. These figures are for information only, are not accounting, tax or investment advice, and Stripe remains the source of truth for your finances.

You choose exactly what a share card shows, and you can preview it before publishing. Anyone with the link can see it, and you are responsible for what you publish and where you post it. Revoking a link deletes it from IndieVitals immediately, but we can’t recall copies, screenshots or previews that others have already saved or cached.

IndieVitals, including its software, design and content, belongs to us and our licensors. While your account is active we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

We work to keep IndieVitals available and accurate, but syncs can be delayed and features may change as the product develops. If we remove a major feature that you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IndieVitals is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data received from connected providers is complete or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to IndieVitals is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from content you publish through share cards or from your breach of these terms.

You can stop using IndieVitals at any time. Deleting your account in Settings → Account is permanent: it revokes your connections, cancels any subscription immediately and deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, or where the law requires it, and we’ll give notice where reasonable.

We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel or delete your account before then; continuing to use IndieVitals means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by Italian law, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Italy. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t remove any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country where you live, and you can also bring proceedings in the courts there. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Failing to enforce a term is not a waiver of it, and you may not transfer these terms without our consent.
